Safety Positive is not built on obligation or enforcement.
It is built on participation, alignment, and shared values.
People are invited into this space based on willingness to learn, grow, and engage in respectful communication.
Respect and Dignity
We believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity.
This includes how we speak to one another, how we give feedback, and how we engage in learning environments.
Disagreement is allowed.
Disrespect is not aligned with this community.
Communication Expectations
We encourage communication that is:
- Clear and respectful
- Open to learning and feedback
- Centered on understanding rather than control
- Supportive of different lived experiences
We do not require perfection.
We do expect willingness to engage constructively.
Shared Responsibility
Safety is something we build together.
While every person has agency in their own choices, strong communities also support one another.
We believe people thrive when they feel connected, supported, and able to contribute to something larger than themselves.
This means creating a culture where people can ask questions, share ideas, offer encouragement, and grow together.
Individual growth strengthens community.
Healthy communities make individual growth easier.

Participation in trainings, community spaces, and programs is based on mutual respect and engagement.
We reserve the right to maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
This includes redirecting or limiting participation if behavior is consistently misaligned with community values.
