SPF Board Member
We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced individuals to serve on the Safety Positive Foundation Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to the organization, ensuring that it operates according to its mission and values and is financially stable and sustainable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to the organization
- Ensure that the organization operates in accordance with its mission and values
- Ensure that the organization is financially stable and sustainable
- Attend and actively participate in board meetings, committee meetings, and other events as required
- Review and approve the organization's annual budget and financial statements
- Participate in fundraising and development activities to support the organization's mission and programs
- Represent the organization to the public and build relationships with community organizations, businesses, and individuals
- Ensure that the organization complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience serving on a nonprofit board of directors or equivalent
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of nonprofit governance, finance, and fundraising
- Passion for the mission of the Safety Positive Foundation

SPF Grant Locator
We are currently seeking a Grant Locator Volunteer to assist in identifying and researching potential grant opportunities for the organization. The Grant Locator Volunteer will work closely with the Grant Coordinator to identify and track grant opportunities and assist in developing grant proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify potential grant opportunities for the Safety Positive Foundation
- Maintain a database of potential grant opportunities and deadlines
- Assist in the development of grant proposals, including drafting and editing proposal content
- Collaborate with the Grant Coordinator to ensure that grant proposals are submitted on time and meet all requirements
- Attend meetings with the Grant Coordinator to discuss grant opportunities and progress
- Provide regular updates to the Grant Coordinator on grant research and proposal development
Qualifications:
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Passion for the mission of the Safety Positive Foundation
- Familiarity with grant research and proposal development preferred but not required

SPF Brand Ambassador
We are currently seeking a Brand Ambassador Volunteer to help promote the organization’s mission and increase awareness of its programs and services. The Brand Ambassador Volunteer will work closely with the Marketing Coordinator to develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote SPF's mission and programs through social media, email, and other channels
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns to increase awareness of the organization
- Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator to create content for social media, email newsletters, and other marketing materials
- Attend events and represent the Safety Positive Foundation to the public
- Build relationships with community organizations, businesses, and individuals to promote the organization's mission and programs
- Provide regular updates to the Marketing Coordinator on marketing activities and progress
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with social media and digital marketing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for the mission of the Safety Positive Foundation
- Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
